Areion Foundation is a purpose-driven social impact non-profit organisation dedicated to creating meaningful and sustainable change across communities and the environment. Areion Foundation serves as the social development and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of the Areion Group. Our CSR initiatives focus on creating value for the underprivileged communities, enhancing their well-being, and promoting environmental conservation. Through a range of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, we promote inclusion, community welfare, and sustainable development. Our mission is to uplift lives, drive lasting change, and foster a society where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

Project Let’s Go to School

Under our CSR initiative, Project Let’s Go to School, Areion Foundation partnered with Alert Citizen Forum to distribute essential school supplies to over 4,000 students in tribal villages of the Palghar district. This collaborative effort highlights our commitment to address the challenges faced by underprivileged communities and make a tangible difference in their lives. Together, we aim to bridge educational disparities and strengthen the learning ecosystem in rural schools.

Computer Mitra Project: Transforming ZP School Palasdari with Digital Access

We believe that access to technology has the power to transform lives and communities. In line with this vision  we launched Project Computer Mitra, to make a lasting impact on rural education.  We established a state-of-the-art computer lab at Z.P. School Palasdari, a tribal school in the Karjat District, aiming to close the technology gap and provide students with critical 21st-century digital skills. With six computers and a fully-equipped learning space, our goal was to not only enhance educational outcomes but also empower students to explore new opportunities for their future.

Digital Learning : Bringing E-Learning to Tribal Villages

Through our CSR Project Digital Learning, we introduced students of  Z.P. School Palasdari, a tribal school in the Karjat District, to modern educational tools and digital learning platforms, allowing them to learn through interactive digital classes. By integrating technology into the curriculum and providing teachers with the resources to innovate, we’re helping to shape an active learning environment that opens doors to limitless possibilities.

Project Sensory Play Paradise

A CSR initiative developed with heart, purpose, and dedication, Project Sensory Play Paradise was designed for the incredible children at Smt. Kamla Mehta Dadar School for the Blind. After extensive research into their unique needs, we created a safe, sensory-rich environment that helps visually impaired children explore, learn, and grow independently. This initiative is more than just a playroom, it’s a transformative space that empowers children with disabilities and enhances their developmental experiences.

Project Braille And Beyond : Empowering Minds To Walk Confidently Into Tomorrow.

As part of our commitment to fostering inclusive education and empowering students, Areion Foundation launched Project Braille And Beyond, an initiative focused on supporting young learners with essential educational and mobility resources. Under this initiative, Areion Foundation donated 3 smart computers for their computer lab, 500 Braille sheets, and distributed 100 walking sticks to students at the Poona Blind School. The project was designed to enhance access to learning tools, encourage digital inclusion, and support independent mobility for visually impaired students, enabling them to pursue education with greater confidence and dignity. Through Project Braille And Beyond, the foundation continues to reinforce its commitment towards accessibility, inclusion, and creating opportunities that empower every child to build a brighter future.

Project Chala Bala Shikuya

Under Project Chala Bala Shikuya, we distributed essential school supplies to over 2,000 students across tribal villages in the Palghar district. This initiative was undertaken to help bridge educational disparities and provide vital learning resources to children studying in rural schools, empowering them with the tools needed to pursue education with confidence. The project aimed to support and inspire young minds in rural and tribal communities by providing thoughtfully curated school kits that encourage learning and contribute towards building a brighter future. The distribution drive was successfully conducted over a span of two days, reaching students across multiple villages.

Project Mumbai Darshan- Empowering Rural Students Through Experiential Learning

We successfully conducted Mumbai Darshan, a one day educational immersion designed to broaden horizons for tribal students from Palghar. This  initiative focused on empowering young minds through exposure and experience. From a guided heritage walk across Mumbai’s iconic landmarks to immersive learning at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Nehru Planetarium, and Nehru Science Centre, the initiative combined history, science, and experiential discovery into a meaningful journey. The day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony for the Science Day painting competition, where 100 students were awarded medals and certificates in recognition of their participation, celebrating curiosity, creativity, and achievement. A step forward in bridging educational gaps and inspiring future aspirations.

Project DigniKIT

In the year 2024, Areion Foundation led Project DigniKIT, a CSR initiative launched on International Women’s Day with the objective of promoting menstrual dignity and hygiene for women in confinement. As part of this initiative, 600 menstrual hygiene kits were distributed to women inmates at Byculla Women’s Jail – a community that is often underserved and overlooked. Project DigniKIT was thoughtfully designed to address the specific hygiene needs of women living in confinement, while fostering dignity, health, and well-being. The initiative reflects Areion Foundation’s core values of inclusion, empathy, and social responsibility, reinforcing our commitment to creating meaningful impact where it is needed most.

Project Golden Hearts: Spreading Smiles, One Old Age Home at a Time - Part I

In April 2025, our CSR arm Areion Foundation launched Project Golden Hearts: Spreading Smiles, One Old Age Home at a Time. This CSR initiative was dedicated to nurturing the emotional wellbeing of senior citizens residing in old age homes across Mumbai and its surrounding areas. In Golden Hearts – Part One, our team visited Krushna Old Age Home at Dombivli, to host an evening filled with laughter, connection, and joyful memories. We organised engaging games like ‘Pop the Balloon’ and ‘Ball in the Bowl’, followed by a lively Karaoke session and heartfelt ‘Words of Wisdom’– an Open mic activity. We also shared personalised greeting cards and sweets with them. In response to the old age home’s requirements, we also extended our support in ensuring comfort and care for the elderly by providing them with rexine mattresses and pillows. At the heart of this initiative is a simple belief that ‘Joy Shared is Joy Multiplied’.

As part of Project Golden Hearts – Part Two, our team visited Divine Elder Care Home in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, bringing joy and companionship to over 50 elderly residents through interactive games, a karaoke session, and the distribution of personalised greeting cards and sweets. To further support resident well-being, we provided commode wheelchairs and chair escalators, enhancing mobility, accessibility, and comfort. Through this initiative, Areion Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to enriching the lives of senior citizens with care, dignity, and meaningful community engagement.

Under Project Golden Hearts – Part 3, our team visited Premkunj Vrudhashram, an old age home caring for 24 elderly residents. To support the well-being of the residents, we provided rexine mattresses with pillows, ensuring hygiene, and physical comfort for the elderly. In addition, commode wheelchairs were provided to assist residents with mobility challenges, helping them maintain dignity, accessibility, and ease in their daily lives

A key component of the initiative was the installation of solar panels, creating a reliable and sustainable source of energy for the facility. By addressing both immediate needs and long-term infrastructure requirements, the project aims to improve the quality of life of the residents while supporting the institution’s sustainable development.

Project Ageing with Dignity - A CSR initiative committed to ensuring comfort, respect, and care in the later stages of life.

Through this initiative, we extended our support to Karunalayam Home for Dying Destitute in Kerala, an old age home that provides shelter to over 130 elderly inmates, including more than 40 bedridden residents and over 60 mentally challenged individuals. The institution plays a vital role in offering care, protection, and dignity to abandoned, destitute, and vulnerable elderly citizens. To strengthen the institution’s caregiving capacity and improve resident well-being, we provided essential infrastructure and care-support equipments, including 25 Semi-Fowler hospital beds with mattresses, 75 rexine mattresses and pillows, 13 Locker units with dual storage compartments and 10 Commode Wheelchairs.  

To mark the successful completion of the project, we organized a series of interactive activities for the residents, including games such as ‘Spot the Vegetable Challenge ’ and ‘Pass the Parcel’, fostering engagement and social interaction. The celebrations concluded with the distribution of sweets, bringing smiles and a sense of joy to the residents. 

This project aimed at improving mobility and independence of the elderly, ensuring dignity, enhancing hygiene and enabling better care for residents with varying medical and mobility needs.

As part of our CSR initiative, we launched Project Dignity, where we constructed four sanitation blocks across schools in remote villages of Palghar District, benefiting approximately 1,500 students. Equipped with toilet units, handwash stations, water and electricity connections, and other essential amenities, the project aims to improve hygiene, health, dignity, school attendance, and the overall learning environment, fostering a more supportive educational ecosystem in rural communities. By strengthening essential infrastructure in underserved schools, this initiative contributes towards building a more inclusive, supportive, and conducive educational ecosystem for children in rural communities.

Project Safe School Initiative - Building Infrastructure for Better Learning

Under this initiative we partnered with Trisha Foundation to identify schools in the remote areas of Maharashtra who are in need of critical infrastructure support. As part of this initiative, ZP School at Adavad, Jalgaon District was identified, benefiting over 570 children through improved infrastructure and enhanced learning conditions. The project focused on creating a safer and more conducive learning environment by constructing a boundary wall and gate to enhance school security, along with building essential toilet facilities for students. Through this initiative, the foundations aim to improve safety, hygiene, and overall infrastructure, enabling children to access education in a secure and dignified environment.
